BOUNTY ROUTE ALONG WEST COAST MAHE

image00200.jpeg

We began our journey at Port Launay Beach, a peaceful little bay with incredibly calm waters—perfect for renting a SUP board and exploring the area. Not into paddleboarding? No worries! The bay also offers stunning coral reefs for snorkeling. The soft pink hues of the reef were unlike anything else we saw in the Seychelles—truly a must-see.

From there, we continued south along the coastal road, passing one beautiful beach after another. We made stops at the beach near Del Place restaurant, Grand Anse, Anse Boileau, and Anse Louis. Just after Anse Louis, you’ll come across a large sandbank. We parked our car at the following coordinates: 📍 -4.725844903307122, 55.48303562675333 The size of the sandbank depends on the tides, so it’s worth checking the best time to visit. After a short walk through shallow water, you’ll reach a wide, white sandbank. Walk all the way to the end and it feels like you’re standing in the middle of the bay—definitely a fun and unique stop.

We wrapped up the route with visits to Petit Anse and Anse Soleil. The latter is a magical spot to watch the sunset. There’s even a cozy restaurant perched above the water, perfect for enjoying a relaxed dinner as the sun dips below the horizon.
